SPY SWEEPER AND SNIPERSPY CAN WORK TOGETHER
SniperSpy should not be deployed remotely when Spy Sweeper is installed on the remote computer. You can bypass Spy Sweeper but you will need to be sitting in front of the monitored computer to install. This page provides a step-by-step of how to bypass Spy Sweeper v5.0. You should create your module from your home computer and place the module on a floppy or CD to have it ready once you are at your remote PC.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT TURN ON THE ANTI-SPYWARE / ANTI-VIRUS BLOCKER WHEN CREATING YOUR MODULE.
1. Execute your module from the floppy or CD-ROM.
2. Go inside Spy Sweeper and do a scan of the following folder only: If you have XP, the folder to scan is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\COMPUTERNAME\ If you have Vista, the folder to scan is: C:\ProgramData\COMPUTERNAME\
NOTE: "COMPUTERNAME" should be replaced with your computer's actual name as found in My Computer.
3. When the scan finishes it will find some entries detected.
4. DESELECT ALL ENTRIES and then click "Quarantine Selected" or Next as shown below.

5. Click OPTIONS > ALWAYS APPLY tab 6. Select the "acespy" entry and then click ALWAYS IGNORE for each as shown below.
Note: Even though it says acespy its really detecting sniperspy.

7. Reboot the PC. (very important)
8. Once windows loads then Spy Sweeper might tell you a new entry appears in your startup. If so then Allow it to remain there. It won't ask again. 9. You can verify that the folder in Step 2 has files appearing and then deleting every few minutes. This means its creating logs and uploading them.
10. If you do not see this happen then execute your module one last time and do another reboot and go back to step 8.
